Inzwischen scheint dieses Problem nicht mehr zu bestehen.
Wir sind nun aber auch seit mehr als einem halben Jahr nicht mehr Kunde bei Arcor.

Hallo,

das ist ein Problem, das ich bis jetzt nur von Arcor und Versatel kenne.
Generel ist es denen aber egal, da man ja auch keine qualifizierten Hotline Mitarbeiter an die Strippe kommt. Die sind leider auch nicht zu erreichen …. ;-)

I just had to re-setup a project on my local machine and encountered this error of the javascript: undefined like is listed above. I had blogged about this once in the past indicating that it was fixed by simply putting the ‘Javascript’ reference into the $helpers array inside the AppController. When I began to have this issue again for no apparent reason, except possibly the latest CakePHP version upgrade, I used your example from above putting the reference in AppHelper and it all started working again.

This is a major WTF? Is this some kind of new feature in version 1.2.3.8166?
